Arabic: Tips for memorizing the plural forms?

We found out yesterday in cl, much to our dismay, that in Arabic you can't just add something at the end of a word to make it plural (like the English "s"), so we have to memorize plural forms of all the human and non-human nouns we know. :( Does anybody know any tips for remembering them easier? Or tricks for any of them? Salaam
