Something is terribly wrong with me?

Ok to start out with. I'm black. I love rock music and rock bands like linkin park, and I love wearing black and black nail polish because it represents me and how I look at life and how I feel. People say i'm emo because I dress and act like it but I'm just me. I feel really weird because I don't like rap music, i'm not that interested in black guys, I don't wear nikes, and overall I DO NOT act like my race. I'm not accepted into the "black ghetto" group at my school, and instead I hang out with the other goths and emos that are like me. My family says i'm a shame to black people because i'm not like them. They say something is wrong with me. Plz give me some help or advice on what to do!!
