Canon vixia hf 21 upload problem!!!!!!!!!?

My father give me a birthday present -Canon vixia hf 21,,,,,,,i get many great video use it,,,,but i hope to edit it,,,,,,friends told me to use imovie,,,but i can not upload my video to it,,,,,,,,i trial sony vegas with my father`s PC,,,,failed too! Which one,,,,i can use,,,,or how can i import my video to these good editor,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,???
