Why is Obama giving more power to the FEDS when they are partly responsible for the near financial collapse?

Because of Allen Greenspan ignoring one of his own administrators warnings.If this administrator had the kind of power Obama proposes the Fed Chief will no longer be able to hide dire warnings.
