Why am i dreaming about my best guy friend, not my boyfriend?

I had a dream about my best guy friend, not my boyfriend. In this dream I was sooo happy and just ecstatic about being with my best guy friend. We were on a date and walking along the beach, and when i woke up i felt horrible because it wasn't about my boyfriend. It's been worrying me lately. Does it mean something?
