My daughter (9 years old) has expressed bitterness about being fed holiday lies earlier in her life -- Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, Woden -- you know, the usual stuff. Now that she's a sadder but wiser girl, she wants to know what the point of all that mendacity was. So, what is/was the point? What do YOU think....hmmmmm?
